I feel like I've run into those somewhere, but can't put my finger on it. All the modular/repairable initiatives I've seen have failed largely because the big companies have a hard time seeing how they can create the exponential shareholder profit growth that drives the industry. What I like about Framework is the idea that that sort of growth could be done away with in favor of a more subtle modular-upgrade and repair industry.
