Lee-Ping Rogers got tipped about the coming raid.

An ex-soldier, his tea-house was acclaimed in all the States for the quality of the tea and the quality of the atmosphere. But it was for his charity work that he was universally loved.

The cops smashed down his door at 3AM on a Tuesday. He’d been giving away tea to the homeless and helpless. Free food broke the law.

When they shot up his bedroom, though, they only hit air. He’d known they were coming. They found only a cup of tea waiting for them, still steaming in the evening air.
